পরিবার সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, ফাহিম বাবা-মায়ের একমাত্র সন্তান। মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে সে নিখোঁজ হওয়ার পর পরিবারের সদস্যরা খোঁজ শুরু করেন। পরে চামাগ্রাম এলাকার একটি লিচুবাগান থেকে তার দেহ উদ্ধার হয়। খবর ছড়িয়ে পড়তেই এলাকায় উত্তেজনা তৈরি হয়। পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে ঘটনার পূর্ণাঙ্গ তদন্ত এবং দোষীদের কঠোর শাস্তির দাবি জানানো হয়েছে।

পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, গোপন সূত্রে খবর পেয়ে মঙ্গলবার রাতে সুজাপুরের চামাগ্রাম এলাকা থেকে মোহাম্মদ নাসতারুল হক ওরফে রনি (২১) এবং রোহিত শেখ (১৯)-কে গ্রেফতার করা হয়। দু’জনেরই বাড়ি চামাগ্রাম শিরোটোলা এলাকায় বলে পুলিশ জানিয়েছে। তাঁদের জিজ্ঞাসাবাদের পর পাওয়া তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে তদন্তে আরও দু’জনের নাম সামনে আসে বলে দাবি তদন্তকারীদের।
