ন্যাশনাল ফিট ইন্ডিয়া মিশন কর্মসূচি অনুষ্ঠিত হলো দক্ষিণ মালদায় অবস্থিত কালিয়াচক কলেজে। ন্যাশনাল ক্যাডেট কর্স বা এনসিসি এবং ফিজিক্যাল এডুকেশন ডিপার্টমেন্টের উদ্যোগে সাড়ম্বরে পালিত হয় এই জাতীয় ক্রীড়া দিবসের কর্মকাণ্ড। এই প্রোগ্রামের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ ডক্টর নাজিবর রহমান সভা পরিচালনা করেন, শরীর শিক্ষা বিষয়ের শিক্ষক আমজাদ আলী, বিশেষ বক্তব্য রাখেন ইকোনমিক্স ডিপার্টমেন্টের প্রধান অধ্যাপক ও ইন্টারনাল কোয়ালিটি অ্যাসুরেন্স সেল এর প্রাক্তন কো-অর্ডিনেটর ডঃ সুব্রত কুমার দাস।

খেলাধুলার সামগ্রী প্রদর্শনীর মাধ্যমে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের উদ্যোম লক্ষ্য করা যায় বিশেষত প্রথম সেমিস্টারে ভর্তি হওয়া ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কাছে কলেজের খেলার উপকরণ এর প্রদর্শনী এবং খেলার আয়োজনের বিষয়গুলো উপভোগ্য হয়ে ওঠে।
প্রিন্সিপাল ডক্টর নাজিবর রহমান সভাপতির ভাষণে উল্লেখ করেন আজকের দিনের যুবক যুবতী বা ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জন্য এই ধরনের ফিট ইন্ডিয়া মিশন কর্মসূচি বিশেষভাবে উপযোগী। ২০১২ সালে ভারত সরকার “স্পোর্টস ডে’ হিসাবে 29 আগস্টকে চিহ্নিত করেন ভারতীয় হকি খেলার প্রাণপুরুষ মেজর ধ্যানচাঁদ এর জন্মবার্ষিকীকে স্মরণ করে। এই বছর অর্থাৎ ২০২৫ সালে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার স্পোর্টস ডে উপলক্ষে ২৯, ৩০ এবং ৩১ আগস্ট এই তিন দিনের ফিট ইন্ডিয়া মিশন ঘোষণা করেছেন।

এই মিশন উপলক্ষে কালিয়াচক কলেজের ফিজিক্যাল এডুকেশন ডিপার্টমেন্ট এবং এনসিসি ক্যাডেট ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের মধ্যে একটি ফুটবল ম্যাচ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এই ম্যাচে শুভারম্ভ করেন অধ্যক্ষ ডাক্তার নাজিবর রহমান। এই ম্যাচটি পরিচালনা করেন কলেজের ফিজিক্যাল ইন্সট্রাক্টর কল্লোল রায়। সকলের সমবেত প্রয়াসে কলেজ প্রাঙ্গণ মুখরিত হয়ে ওঠে।
